Permissions Requested

The current permissions for our Android™ App are:

  • Take pictures and videos—used for the Deposit Anywhere™ mobile cheque deposit feature.

  • Approximate location and precise location—used for the find Branch/ATM feature.
  • Full network access—used to connect to the Internet in order for the app to function.
  • View network connection—allows the app to select the best connectivity to operate the app by viewing the types of Internet connectivity available to the Android™ phone when the mobile banking app is being used.

Access

You need to have access to online banking and must have logged into it at least once prior to using mobile banking.  Once you have logged in from a desktop computer, simply visit www.valleyfirst.com/m from your smart phone browser.

Text Banking

SMS Text Banking

Features

  • Account Balance—To check your account balance, simply text BAL to MONEY (66639). Within moments, you will receive a text message with your account balance information.

  • All Account Balances—To check all of your account balances, simply text BAL ALL to MONEY (66639). You'll receive a text message with the balance information for all your selected accounts.

  • Transaction History—To view your recent account activity, simply text ACT to MONEY (66639). You'll receive a text message with the five most recent transactions on your account.

  • To make things even simpler, you can save the short code MONEY (66639) in your phone for quick and easy access. You can even save your text messages and simply resend for future use.

Access

To go mobile, all you need is access to online banking. Don't have it? Contact your branch to sign up today.

If you're already an online banking user:

  1. Login to your online banking account
  2. Click on Account Services then Manage Mobile Banking
  3. Click "Register your phone for mobile banking"
  4. Enter your mobile phone information
  5. You'll receive a text message with your passcode
  6. Confirm your passcode and select the accounts you want to access with mobile banking
