Raising food, funds and awareness for hunger in our communities.

Valley First is committed to making a real difference in the financial lives of our members and a meaningful difference in our local communities. That’s why we launched Feed the Valley in March 2010, an innovative community partnership aimed at tackling hunger in the Okanagan, Similkameen and Thompson valleys.

Last year 80,000 British Columbians accessed their local food bank, 1 of every 3 clients is a child.

Get involved today. It's easy and will make an incredible difference in the lives of children and families right here at home!

Wondering how you can help with the wildfire response?

We’re proud to be joining our employees, members and community partners to support local food banks across our region. Our food bank partners are on the front lines, offering help to those in need and many are facing increases in clients and decreases in donations. First West Credit Union, which Valley First is part of, is partnering with one of our board directors and has committed $50,000 to food banks throughout the Okanagan, Thompson and Similkameen Valleys. Join us in helping our communities – donate now online with our community partner, Food Banks B.C.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of children and families in our communities. Join us with your support — donate online or in branch today.
