Armstrong Music in the Park

The Lions Gazebo in Memorial Park Armstrong is host to Valley First Music in the Park every Friday. This 10-week summer music series is held rain or shine. Our blue army will be on site and collecting food and funds for Feed the Valley with all proceeds to the Armstrong Food Bank.

Civic Sounds

July - August, 2019

We are sponsoring this eight-week music in the park series in Vernon. Join our teams to raise funds for the Vernon Salvation Army Food Bank. Eat to the beat with three food vendors on-site each week and dance on Vernon's biggest dance floor.

Kelowna Parks Alive!

We are once again presenting Community Music Tuesdays every Tuesdayin July and August throughout many of Kelowna’s parks and public spaces. Entertainment is family-friendly and suitable for people of all ages and tastes. Performers range from local artists to world-class professionals, performing in a variety of musical genres and styles. Look out for our blue army on site handing out goodies or playing fun games!

120th Armstrong IPE

We are sponsoring Kids World at the 120th Interior Provincial Exhibition, Horsin' around at the IPE. The Valley First community crew will be offering free face-painting and family friendly games for those attending the fair. We also support the distribution of more than 30,000 tickets to elementary school students in the Okanagan, and the lost and found wrist band program.

The Cops for Kids Ride

Cops for Kids is a charitable foundation that is committed to assisting children that have suffered a medical, physical or traumatic crisis in their young lives. Every year Grant Fletcher, our commercial banking regional manager participates in this grueling ten-day ride, which occurs each year over some very challenging terrain. The riders are driven by their commitment to the young children and their families which the Cops for Kids foundation serve in the southern interior region of British Columbia.

United Way, Drive Thru Breakfast

Drive thru and show support to over 3000 children, youth, families and seniors in our community! The Penticton Lakeside Resort main entrance is transformed into a drive-thru experience like no other! With over 800 breakfast bags (including kids bags) worth over $50 delivered to “drive-thru guests”, in exchange for donations to support vulnerable people in our community.

Chefs in the City, presented by Valley First

In partnership with the Rotary Club of Kamloops, we are proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 12th annual event. Chefs in the City is a celebration of the culinary arts, fine wine and beer from the region. Proceeds from the 50/50 are donated to the Kamloops Food Bank, via the Feed the Valley program.
